HANKSITE

Hanksite helps you understand the process of death for this present physical body and that this is truly a beginning and not an ending; the spiritual process of "death". It helps you see that you can not only tolerate unwanted changes in your life but actually cooperate with them and flow through them easily. Hanksite combats restlessness. AGATE Agate is another form of Chalcedony and therefore one of the Quartzes. It balances the yin-yang energy and also balances the physical, emotional, and intellectual bodies with the spiritual. It cleanses and stabilizes your aura and not only dissolves negativity but transmutes it as well. Agates tend to be in the brown and gray tones, and Jaspers tend to be more colorful. AJOITE Ajoite is a lovely turquoise or aqua. The middle syllable of Ajoite is "joy", and this is truly a highly developed joyous stone. Most often found in combination with Quartz, which is rare enough, but you do occasionally see Ajoite phantoms within Quartz crystals. Ajoite joins the Heart Chakra and the Throat Chakra ("feel the truth" and "speak the truth") and allows you to speak what is in your heart. Ajoite brings peace to you and allows you to joyously accept your life. You can rid yourself of negatives, including self-hostility. It allows you to truly become the "I AM". AMETHYST Amethyst Crystal is extraordinarily special and is perhaps the first crystal many of us think of to represent the metaphysical world. It balances the physical, intellectual, and emotional bodies and provides a connection to the other worlds. Amethyst clears your aura. ANGEL SILK Angel Silk is Peruvian Pink Opal. It is the only crystal that has ever told me what it's name was (so far!). Pink Peruvian Opal is the prettiest of light to medium-light pinks. Angel Silk is not like the Opals most people are familiar with. Rather than having flashes of various colors, the Blue and Pink Opals from Peru glow from within. It is an Angel Crystal and works on the Spiritual Heart Chakra, connecting us in love to all others. It helps develop your intuitiveness and is a very gentle and loving mothering crystal. It helps you connect to the "I AM" when you need to, and it will help renew your connection to the "I AM" each time. ANGELITE Angelite is one of the Angel Crystals, of course. Angelite nodules look like a white potato on the outside, and you would never suspect that on the inside is this glorious blue crystal! It encourages saying and sending love and light into the world. It aligns the physical body with the etheric bodies. Angelite sets up a protective field around itself. It enhances telepathic communication as well as contact with other worldly beings. It can open the pathway for channeling. It raises your conscious awareness, allowing you to "plug in" to universal awareness. It initiates or intensifies contact with your spirit totem. Angelite is useful for psychic healing, allowing a bridge between you and the ethereal energy field. It aids you in astral travel, allowing this travel to become second nature to you. ANHYDRITE Anhydrite attracts the Angels to you when you work with it. Using Anhydrite with Dioptase and Selenite will give you a sense of attunement and balance. Anhydrite works on the Throat Chakra. It allows you to leave the past behind when necessary and look forward to the changes coming with gladness in your heart. The light blue Anhydrite brings help for the nervous system (calmness) while the white Anhydrite is better for energy work and for ridding entities from an area. APACHE GOLD Apache Gold is a combination of Steatite and Golden Pyrite and in addition to exhibiting the characteristics of those two stones, it also has characteristics of its own. When worn, this gemstone aligns all the bodies--physical, spiritual, and etheric. It encourages you to act on instinctive impulses. Apache Gold increase the bio-magnetic forces in your body and aligns your body with Earth's magnetic fields. It makes your body more receptive to radionic treatment. APATITE Apatite comes in many colors, even colorless, but my favorites are the teals and aquas. It stimulates the intellect. It is a facilitator, enhancing the properties of other crystals and gemstones that you use with it, bringing about the desired effect quickly. It is a healing gemstone and is excellent at balancing energy. It balances and aligns the physical, spiritual, and etheric bodies. It brings all the Chakras to their best working energy level and clears them as well. Apatite promotes clairvoyance. It can also be used to make a connection with UFOs as well as to past-life events and what they mean; how they apply to your present life. APOPHYLLITE Apophyllite is one of the Angel Crystals. It comes in white/clear and green. The green is more rare. It allows you to consciously connect your physical body with the spirit realm. It is very useful for astral travel and it allows you to remain connected to your physical body during that travel. It allows you to bring your experiences back to your physical body. Natural Apophyllite pyramids will stimulate your intuitive vision, especially when you place the pyramid, base down, on your Third Eye Chakra. The pyramids will also assist you in channeling. I have to tell you I am not an expert at classifying Zeolites. I do not yet know them as well as I know so many other crystals! I have particular trouble picking out the Heulandite from the Stilbite. AQUAMARINE Aquamarine is actually such strong protection that it protects against danger. It is a stone of courage. It helps you learn about your physical world and about yourself. It shields your aura. It is a Throat Chakra crystal. This crystal is one of the Beryl Group, and all of the Beryls are quite special. Two Beryls are Angel Crystals. Aquamarine (and Kyanite) are going to be extremely important to us in the next while. It is an important crystal for us to have around us. ARAGONITE Aragonite helps you center yourself, especially when you are experiencing stress and/or anger. This gemstone also encourages patience. GREEN AVENTURINE Green Aventurine is used primarily to both activate and clear the Heart Chakra. It is also an excellent protector of the Heart Chakra, providing for a shield to block the entry from those who wish to “tap in” and use the energy of another. AZEZTULITE Azeztulite is very useful for entering the meditative state. It provides excellent communication with other planes of existence--including the Angelic realm. AZURITE Azurite is called the "Crystal of Heaven". It not only helps you develop your psychic awareness and skills, but it also helps you speak accurately of your psychic experiences. Simply holding and asking Azurite to remove the thoughts that are troubling you will get rid of those nagging worries in the back of your mind. Azurite nodules are excellent for stimulating the Third Eye Chakra which will arouse your intuitiveness and psychic abilities. It also works well on the Navel Chakra and the Heart Chakra. It helps us reach a state of non-judgment, a necessary state to attain in spiritual development. It also helps us to accept ourselves and others. It works on the Throat Chakra. BERYLS Beryls are one of my very favorites in the crystal world (and it is so hard to choose my favorite among them!). Their energy is subtle but extraordinary. I cannot emphasize enough how special all of them are. Beryls include Aquamarine (blue/green), Bixbite (red), Emerald (green), Goshenite (clear/white), Heliodor (yellow gold), Morganite (peachy pink or pink), Yellow Beryl or Gold Beryl, Green Beryl, and Blue Beryl. The extraordinary (there goes that word again, but I cannot help it!) light that these crystals possess is beyond description. You can tell just by looking at them how special they are! BLACK TOURMALINE/SCHORL Black Tourmaline/Schorl repels negativity. It will not only protect you against negative people on the earth but also those in the spirit world who wish you harm. This crystall keeps your spirits up, in spite of precarious or negative circumstances. It provides higher performance of your physical, emotional, and intellectual bodies. It helps creative people the ability to see the practical side of their endeavors. Black Tourmaline is particularly useful for someone going through divorce or someone who has lost a loved one. BLOODSTONE Bloodstone is another Chalcedony, therefore a variety of Quartz. It is an excellent Healing Crystal. It works best on the Base Chakra, Navel Chakra, Solar Plexus Chakra, and the Heart Chakra. It balances and renews the whole bodies--especially when the energies around you are realigning and helps control the stress and anxiety that can be rampant at such times. Vibration: 4 and 6 Astrological Sign: Aries, Pisces, and Libra GO SHOPPING!

BLUE HEALERS Covellite Blue Healers are both dark and medium blue. The darker blues are the rarest. Blue crystals are not common in any shade, though. Azurite (Angel Crystal and Crystal of Heaven), Teal Apatite, Covellite, Shattuckite, Cavansite, Lazurite (the blue in Lapis Lazuli), Lapis Lazuli, Afghanite, and Lazulite are some of the dark blues. Some of these (i.e., Covellite) have a tinge of green in them as well. In the medium blue range, I would list Angelite, Blue Kyanite, Blue Lace Agate, Blue Chalcedony, and Owyhee Opal. This is a very high group of crystals that do very high spiritual healing. The dark blues are a bit higher than the medium blues. I've always felt, as a healer, that healing needs to be done on the spiritual level and that healing will filter down to the physical body to affect the necessary changes. There are certainly many pathways to the same place, and different healing modalities teach healing differently. This is just my own personal healing philosophy. GO SHOPPING!

BOJI® STONES (aka KANSAS POP ROCKS) Boji® Stones only work in pairs of one male and one female. The female stone is smoother, and the male stone is more heavily crystallized. These stones are Iron Concretions, and they all contain Pyrite and Palladium. Palladium is an exceptional healer. They are very grounding. These pairs align all of the Chakras and all of the bodies (physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, etc.). Boji® Stones usually take several sessions, but they work to remove energy blockages. BRONZITE (HYPERSTHENE/ENSTATITE) Bronzite is a weathered Hypersthene which also contains Enstatite. It is a great mix of many browns and golds with beautiful chatoyant areas. Hypersthene helps us build our self-respect without pride. It helps open up the mind on the Earth level to allow Spirituality to come within your reach. It helps us to see that all people are, indeed, alike in all ways that count on the Earth level, and, on the Spiritual level, that we are all truly one, the I AM. CACTUS QUARTZ/SPIRIT QUARTZ Cactus Quartz (the name I prefer--but there are so many to pick from!) are the most extraordinary little crystals! They come from South Africa. The tops of these crystals are elestial** in formation, and the sides of most of them are covered in tiny crystals. They are very unique to look at, and so is their energy! The small Amethyst Cactus Quartz I worked with for many months had a remarkable sense of humor--he traveled all over the bed (I have never had another crystal travel like he did) and even got off the bed one time and half-way to the master bedroom bathroom! CALCITE Calcite's natural color is white or clear. All of the wondrous colors of Calcite (pink, green, blue, peach, gold, yellow, red, grey, and black) are Calcite which combined with other minerals as it formed. Any Calcite that is placed on the appropriate Chakra will not only clear and activate that Chakra but all other Chakras as well. Clear Calcite can be placed on any Chakra. Gold and clear Calcite work on the Crown Chakra, blue Calcite on the Throat Chakra, pink Calcite on the Third Eye Chakra and the Heart Chakra, yellow Calcite on the Solar Plexus Chakra, peach Calcite on the Navel Chakra, and clear Calcite on the Base Chakra. KUNZITE Kunzite is an Angel Crystal and comes in many colors. I have heard that it actually glows when it is first pulled from the earth! Kunzite is actually just the pink color. Hiddenite is technically just the green variety that comes from South Carolina, USA, but you will see almost all green Kunzite labeled Hiddenite. The other colors (yellow, clear/white, blue, lavendar) are technically called Spodumene. It seems easiest for me to label all of the colors "Kunzite". Like all the Angel Crystals I have held and worked with, Kunzite does its work very subtly and gently. It does its work quietly. It works best on the Heart Chakra, Throat Chakra, and the Third Eye Chakra. It activates the Heart Chakra and brings it into alignment with the Throat and Third Eye Chakras. The Heart Chakra is where I center myself because this is where all the love and light comes from. This is what I want to send out into the world. Kunzite brings the energy to you so that you can send out loving thoughts and communications with others. The love it brings to you purifies you on all levels. It brings you great peace. Kunzite sets up a protective layer around your aura to keep negative or inappropriate energy out, so it is a very good stone to wear or carry. It can also remove obstacles from your path and dispels negativity. It works well for meditation, providing centering and deeper states. Kunzite will fade in too much sunlight or high heat and will become a clear stone, so take care to protect it. KYANITE Kyanite is self cleansing/cleaning, so you will never need to recharge this stone. It is a very good attunement crystal. Kyanite is a Throat Chakra and Third Eye gemstone. It also aligns and opens all of the Chakras. If you consciously direct this stone, you can align the all of the bodies. Kyanite is sometimes found together with Ruby in its natural state. LAPIS LAZULI Lapis Lazuli is certainly the crystal of ancient kings and queens. This crystal was well known in ancient Egypt as well as other ancient cultures. This gemstone provides a joining of the physical plane and the celestial plane. Used with Rutilated Topaz, your aura can be shielded and built up. This is another good gemstone to combat depression. LARIMAR Larimar comes only from the Dominican Republic. This crystal has a very strong connection to Atlantis. Larimar is such an incredibly beautiful crystal--its various shades of aqua are strongly reminiscent of the waters of the Caribbean. Its combination of various shades of aquas and white are so beautiful. Larimar is for the Throat Chakra. LAZULITE Lazulite is quite rare and, as far as I know, is only found in Georgia, USA. This crystal is one of the Blue Healers, a Spiritual Healer. Interestingly enough, this crystal, like Azurite, is also called a "Crystal of Heaven". It works on the Throat Chakra and, when it comes with white crystal, also works on all of the Chakras.
