ZZZ - SEDONA VORTEX ROCKS

Several of you have written to me asking if there is anything special to do with the vortex stones; any special way to use them, etc. I received more information about the vortex stones from Sedona that I would like to share with all of you:

Sedona Vortex Rock Set - I have always known that the vortex stones from here are quite special, because they come from very sacred and special places. The vortexes are quite magickal, imho, and my favorite is Cathedral Rock. It is the only vortex with water. Oak Creek runs right by Cathedral Rock, and it is a place of great beauty. The stones I offer are from the four major vortexes, including Cathedral Rock. I am quite sure there are smaller vortexes in this area as well. Vortexes are merely swirling energy; special energy. Like any kind of energy, some people are more sensitive than others to the vortexes.

I strongly suspect that each person's journey with these vortex stones will vary. I believe that those that need to be more "awake" are probably awakened. For those that need help continuing their journey, I suspect they get that help. I believe that these stones fulfill what is needed rather than to actually fit into any specific metaphysical properties like most other crystals do. I would ask them for what you need when you work with them. Please be open to the possibilities without having any expectations!

Touching the crystals in any way is working with them, and it is important to touch them. I'm very fond of saying that crystals don't do you too much good if they're sitting on a shelf! By all means, touch them as often as you can, especially when you're getting to know them. This is also true of the Sedona Vortex Stones. Meditating is one of the better uses for a soft stone like this (one you cannot easily wear or stick in a pocket).

WEARING CRYSTALS vs. WORKING WITH THEM IN OTHER WAYS

Crystals are a very large part of my life, and I am lucky enough to be surrounded by crystals! When a crystal is touching you all of the time, you are getting the energy of the crystal constantly. I wear several pendants, so I literally wear my medicine bag around my neck. I think this is the very best use of a crystal! Healing crystals do not do you a lot of good if they are sitting on a shelf. You should be touching them as much as possible! Working with them by holding them in your hand or placing them on your body is good, too, as is holding a crystal during meditation.

When my life is about to change, I usually know it is coming, because I feel a very strong need to change my pendants. When I no longer need to wear a pendant or other piece of jewelry, they sometimes literally fall off my body. Over the years, I have worn many different combinations of crystals, and I have enjoyed them all. I seem to wear at least six pendants, but it has been as many as twelve at times. Jewelry is an excellent way to work with your crystals!
